Frequently Asked Questions
-
Why is the trip in December rather than June, July, or August? While June, July and August may represent summer months for many American travelers, this is not the case worldwide! Because the country of South Africa is located in the Southern Hemisphere, the calendar is essentially reversed with their summer months occurring during American winter months. Thus, visiting South Africa in December will make for a much warmer, pleasant, and memorable experience. You do not want to invest significant sums of time, money, and energy to travel so far abroad only to be reluctant to get off the tour bus for pictures because it is so chilly outside!
